U.S. Army Sgt. Kyle Karolus operates a forklift as he prepares to move a conex container ready for shipment at Camp Taji, Iraq on July 18, 2020. As a member of the Alpha Distro processing center with Alpha Company, 834th Aviation Support Battalion, Karolus plays a key role in shipping all U.S. owned property before the base transfers from Coalition to Iraqi Security Forces control. This operation successfully prepared the base for transfer to Iraqi Security Forces, Aug. 23, 2020. The Coalition is adjusting its positioning in Iraq as part of long-planned adjustments to the force, due to Iraqi Security Forces' success in the campaign against Daesh.
