U.S. Army soldiers prepare a simulated patient for medical treatment during a medical scenario at Fort McCoy, Wis., June 19, 2015. The scenario was conducted as part of Patriot Warrior 2015. Patriot Warrior is a joint exercise designed to demonstrate contingency deployment training ranging from bare base buildup to full operational capabilities. It supports Exercise Global Lightning, a Combat Support Training Exercise (CSTX) including Global Medic 15 and Quartermaster Logistics Exercise 15 (QLLEX). Over 6,500 members from U.S. service components including Air Force, Army, and Navy (Active, Guard, and Reserve) participated alongside British and Canadian forces.
