Summary
Spc. Joe Emanuel Clark, a U.S. Army South supply clerk, receives and verifies office supplies from Henry Ford, a warehouse operator, Jan. 15 at the Army South warehouse here. The supplies were ordered and processed through the new Global Combat Support System-Army structure. GCSS-Army is replacing several aging, stove-piped, tactical logistics and financial management systems with a single web-based Enterprise Resource Planning solution that provides tactical commanders with near real-time logistics management information.
