GULF OF MEXICO - Seaman Alex Colebrooke, from Crystal River, Fla., is covered head to toe in crude oil after bringing a Vessel of Opportunity Skimming System back on board the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Harry Claiborne, May 8, 2010. VOSS is used to help remove oil from the ocean surface. The U.S. Coast Guard is working in partnership with BP, local residents and other federal agencies to aid in preventing the spread of oil following the April 20 explosion on mobile offshore drilling unit Deepwater Horizon.
