U.S. Marine Corps aircraft rescue and firefighting specialists with Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron and Marine Wing Support Squadron 271, conduct live fuel fire burn training on Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina, Feb. 3, 2021. ARFF Marines conduct these burn drills twice a month to retain their proficiency in fighting fires, and to familiarize the Marines with the vehicles, gear, and rescue equipment needed to safely and efficiently extinguish fuel fires.
