U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Matthew T. Maldonado, Heavy Equipment Mechanic with 7th Communication Battalion, performs preventative maintenance (PM) on an air conditioning unit at 1st Republic of Korea Marine Corps Base, Pohang, South Korea, March 16, 2014. Every two days PM is performed to the tent's air conditioning units of the Marines supporting Marine Expeditionary Force Exercise (MEFEX) 2014. MEFEX will enhance the interoperability between the U.S. Marine air-ground task force and ROK Marine task force while holding amphibious capabilities of each nation's Navy and Marine Corps.
