U.S. Marine Corps Lt. Gen. Stacy Clardy, commanding general of III Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF), receives a brief from Cpl. Justin Comtois, an automotive maintenance technician with 3rd Transportation Support Battalion (TSB), Combat Logistics Regiment 3, 3rd Marine Logistics Group (MLG), and Danielson, Connecticut native, during a visit from the commanding general on Camp Foster, Okinawa, Japan, Dec 15, 2020. Clardy visited 3rd TSB to learn more about TSB’s capabilities, opportunities and challenges, and to award a Marine and Sailor with a III MEF coin. 3rd MLG, based out of Okinawa, Japan, is a forward deployed combat unit that serves as III MEF’s comprehensive logistics and combat service support backbone for operations throughout the Indo-Pacific area of responsibility.
