U.S. Marine Corps Maj. Gen. Daniel J. O'Donohue, commanding general of 1st Marine Division, serves as the representative for the Commandant of the Marine Corps during the funeral of retired U.S. Marine Corps Lt. Gen. Martin L. Brandtner, at the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Fernley, Nev., Jan. 18, 2017. Lt. Gen. Brandtner is one of two Marines to be awarded two Navy Crosses for his actions during the Vietnam War.
