U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Maj. Lance M. Oufnac, right, off-going sergeant major, Weapons Training Battalion, Marine Corps Installations East-Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, renders a salute to Lt. Col. The ceremony was held to recognize Oufnac for his time and service with WTBN and to welcome aboard the incoming sergeant major. The traditional ceremony symbolizes the passing of responsibilities from one sergeant major to the next. “We are a blended family and we all have vital roles to ensure that the mission is successful.” said Oufnac, “The Marines, civilian employees, and the families of the Marines all play an important part whether it is in the form of support, guidance, or execution that keeps the Marine Corps working as it should.” Sgt.
