Steven Habon, a platoon sergeant with Fox Company, 2nd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force - Crisis Response - Central Command, rappels off an MV-22B Osprey during fast rope training while forward deployed, Sept. 17, 2016. Fast roping enables the quick insert of Marines into hostile landing zones limiting aircraft and personnel vulnerability. SPMAGTF-CR-CC is a self-sustaining expeditionary unit, designed to provide a broad range of crisis response capabilities throughout the Central Command area of responsibility, using organic aviation, logistical and ground combat assets, to include embassy reinforcement and tactical recovery of aircraft and personnel.
