U.S. Marine Sgt. Austin Otto, right, a weapons and tactics instructor, and Sgt. Michael Roderick, a crew chief, both with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron-363, Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force - Crisis Response - Central Command, use the gunner’s station to control and fire MV-22 Osprey's belly-mounted defensive weapon system during aerial gunnery training over the Arabian Gulf, July 27, 2016. The squadron provides SPMAGTF-CR-CC with assault support, as well as transport of combat troops, supplies and equipment during expeditionary, joint or combined operations. SPMAGTF – CR – CC is a self-sustaining expeditionary unit, designed to provide a broad range of crisis response capabilities throughout the Central Command area of responsibility, using organic aviation, logistical, and ground combat assets, to include TRAP and embassy reinforcement.
