U.S. Marines Maj. Mark Koval (left) and Col. Christopher Patton (right) prepare to take off for the AH-1W Super Cobra helicopters’ last flight with Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 367 on Marine Corps Base Hawaii, March 13, 2018. The Marines conducted an hour and a half long flight around the island of Oahu as their farewell to the aircraft. Koval, a native of Whiting, Indiana, is the operations officer of HMLA-367, Marine Aircraft Group 24. Patton, a native of St. Louis, Missouri, is the commanding officer of MAG-24.
