U.S. Navy and Vietnam People's Navy sailors play volleyball
Summary
U.S. Navy and Vietnam People's Navy sailors play volleyball during a barbecue and sports day at Navy Zone 3 in Da Nang, Vietnam. Sailors assigned to the guided-missile destroyer USS Chung-Hoon (DDG 93) are on a port visit to Da Nang in support of Naval Exchange Activity 2013. The NEA provides opportunities for U.S. and Vietnamese naval professionals to share best practices and exchange maritime skills. Maritime skill exchanges between the two navies are non-combatant events, such as humanitarian assistance and disaster relief, medical training, firefighting and damage control, search and rescue, diving and salvage, sports and community service projects. The Vietnam People's Navy sailors are part of the Lu Doan 161-V3 Headquarters. (U.S. Navy photo by Chief Mass Communication Specialist Michael Ard/Released)
