Manalac is a navy corpsman with Company I, 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, currently assigned to ground combat element, 3d Marine Expeditionary Brigade, III Marine Expeditionary Force. Darkalski is a machine gunner with Company I, and Castoverde is a sniper with Marine Battalion Landing Team 9, Philippine Marine Corps.
