100508-N-1531D-070 - GULF OF MEXICO - (May 8, 2010) Boatswain's Mate 1st Class Douglas Jones, from Austin, Texas, communicates with the bridge about the progress of setting up a Vessel of Opportunity Skimming System (VOSS) aboard USCGC Harry Claiborne (WLM 561). VOSS is used to help remove oil from the Gulf surface.
