Brusca, center, commanding officer, future USS Charleston (LCS 18), and a native of Los Angeles, poses for a photo with the members of Tin Can Sailors National Association of Destroyer Veterans during a ship visit. LCS 18 is scheduled to be commissioned in Charleston on March 2 and will be the sixteenth littoral combat ship to enter the fleet and the ninth of the Independence variant.
