YAVORIV, Ukraine ­ The crew of a Ukrainian army BMP­2 (Boyevaya Mashina
Pekhoty) scan for their target down range during gunnery skills test training,
August 15, 2016. Soldiers of 6th Squadron, 8th Cavalry Regiment, 2nd Infantry
Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division introduced the Ukrainians to
different ways of fighting with the BMP combat vehicle. Soldiers of 6­8 Cav are
here training Ukrainian Soldiers in support of the Joint Multinational Training
Group­Ukraine. The training is part of the ongoing efforts to contribute to
Ukraine's long­term military reform and professionalism and to help improve
