His unit, the 301st Military Police Company, was stationed at the infamous Abu Ghraib prison camp in Iraq. TV reporters and newspaper photographers where present to witness the arrival of the 301st MP's at the Fort Buchanan, 65th Regional Readiness Command community center, Puerto Rico. The families finally got to see their love ones. They were dismissed and sent home for a few days R&R before reporting back to the base to be demobilized. Members of the 301st Military Police Reserve Company and the 125th Military Police National Guard Puerto Rico, were stationed at the infamous Abu Ghraib prison, and are glad to be back home. Still carrying their weapons and unfolding the Puerto Rican flag, they were greeted by Fellow Commanders, 1ST Sergeants, Chaplains and photographers of the base. Captain Elmer Rivera (in civilian clothes), Commander of the 301st Military Police Company, greets his fellow soldiers.
