The US Navy (USN) Oliver Hazard Perry Class Guided Missile Frigate USS SAMUEL B. ROBERTS (FFG 58) executes a divisional tactical maneuver just ahead of the Spanish Navy (Armada Espanola) Fleet Tanker (AORL) Class SPS (Spanish Naval Ship) MARQUES DE LA ENSENADA (A 11) along with naval forces from Argentina, Brazil, and Uruguay during UNITAS (United International Antisubmarine Warfare Exercise) 47-06 Atlantic Phase. UNITAS is the largest multi-national naval exercise conducted with naval forces from the US, the Caribbean Sea, and South and Central America. The objects in this collection are from The U.S. National Archives and Defense Visual Information Distribution Service.
