Egyptian Marines wait on the Navy LCU (Landing Craft Utility) with their RHIB (Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat) amphibious assault boats. The LCU will take the Egyptian Marines approximately two miles out to sea at which point the Marines begin a simulated amphibious attack on the beach as part of Exercise BRIGHT STAR 01-02. The objects in this collection are from The U.S. National Archives and Defense Visual Information Distribution Service. The U.S. National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) was established in 1934 by President Franklin Roosevelt.
