The US Naval Ship POLLUX (T-AKR) is anchored in the harbor off the Port of Pusan, Republic of Korea participating in a Combined Joint Logistics over-the-shore exercise (C/JLOTS) in support of the annual defensive exercise, FOAL EAGLE '98. The POLLUX is a Fast Sealift Ship designed to upgrade lift capability and expand Army preposition afloat program. Attached to the POLLUX Starboard side is a Roll on Roll off discharge facility which provides a causeway for vehicles to move from one ship to another.
