U.S. Navy Aviation Boatswain's Mate (Fuels) 3rd Class Allison Okanlawon tests new JP-5 aviation fuel samples to ensure the fuel system icing inhibitor is active in the fuel aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS RONALD REAGAN (CVN 76), on Jan. 28, 2007. US Air Force STAFF Sergeant Gary Silver, 31st Supply Squadron, pours a sample of JP-8 into a test beaker, to check the fuel for the levels of Fuel System Ice Inhibitor. The objects in this collection are from The U.S. National Archives and Defense Visual Information Distribution Service.
