Needed medical supplies and mosquito nets were given out during a Medical Civic Action Program (MEDCAP) visit to Hindi, Kenya. MEDCAP personnel from the Kenyan Navy and the U.S. military, provided care to more than 1,500 people in Hindi, which is located outside of Lamu. The objects in this collection are from The U.S. National Archives and Defense Visual Information Distribution Service. The U.S. National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) was established in 1934 by President Franklin Roosevelt.
