US Army soldiers from the 74th Assault Floating Bridge Company, Fort Hood, Texas, and the 502nd Assault Floating Bridge Company, Hanau, Germany, are designing and constructing a 313.5-meter long, 13.5-meter wide bridge, across the Sava River, near the Bosnia-Herzegovina town of Orasje and the Croatian city of Zupanja. An M812 5 ton (6 x 6) truck is backed into the river and a Ribbon Bridge interior bay on the truck is just entering the water. The objects in this collection are from The U.S. National Archives and Defense Visual Information Distribution Service.
