U.S. Navy Officers aboard the Virginia Class New Attack Submarine Pre-Commissioning Unit (PCU) TEXAS (SSN 775) direct mooring operations from the bridge as their boat arrives in Galveston, Texas, on Sep. 4, 2006. TEXAS will become the second operational USN Virginia Class submarine following its commissioning ceremony here on Sept. 9, 2006. The objects in this collection are from The U.S. National Archives and Defense Visual Information Distribution Service.
