At approximately 3:39 AM Sunday morning, US Air Force Technical Sergeant William Dunlap, 437th Security Forces Squadron, assisted the North Charleston Police Department with the apprehension of a known suspect wanted for assault with intent to kill. The suspects vehicle sped through Charleston Air Force Base gate in excess of 80 mph. And continued until his vehicle struck a curbside, blowing out a front tire. The chase continued on foot, Dunlap drew his weapon at the suspect and repeatedly commanded the suspect to STOP. Once the suspect realized it was over, he gave up and was apprehended

Dedication services of the Brooklyn Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saint were held at the recently completed building at Gates & Franklin Avenue, Brooklyn, N.Y.  Senator Reed Smoot, of Utah delivered the dedication prayer.  The building is of hollow tile & crushed granite is forty-two feet wide on Gates Avenue, and extends back eighty feet along Franklin. The objects in this collection are from The U.S. National Archives and Defense Visual Information Distribution Service. The U.S. National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) was established in 1934 by President Franklin Roosevelt. NARA keeps those Federal records that are judged to have continuing value—about 2 to 5 percent of those generated in any given year.
