US Air Force (USAF) First Lieutenant (1LT) Jeremy Sparks, Personnel Officer, 90th Space Wing (SW), at Francis E. Warren Air Force Base (AFB), Wyoming (WY), is the only USAF sponsored Rodeo Bullfighter (three-time Military World champion) currently working the professional rodeo circuit. 1LT Sparks refers to himself as a Bovine Distraction Unit (BDU) because it is his responsibility to go out and fight the bulls (thus the official term bullfighter) to keep them away from the cowboy who just finished riding them. 1LT Sparks is participating in the Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo being held in Cheyenne, WY

The objects in this collection are from The U.S. National Archives and Defense Visual Information Distribution Service.
