Cherokee, N.C., March 21, 2013 -- Principal Chief, Michell Hicks, of the Eastern Band of the Cherokee Nation (EBCI) visits FEMA's Green Hornet, a self-contained operational unit in Cherokee, NC. FEMA is working with members of the Eastern Band Cherokee Indians and North Carolina officials, on various public assistance projects which were damaged during a severe winter storm in January.
