Members of the Alaska Army National Guard and the Alaska Aviation Heritage Museum (AAHM) unload sling gear from a UH-1 Iroquois helicopter. The equipment will be used to attach an OA-10 PBY Catalina flying boat to a CH-54B Tahre during a recovery operation initiated by the AAHM. The historic aircraft was abandoned by the Air Force after engine trouble forced it down at Dago Lake on September 30, 1947. Members of the AAHM plan to restore the aircraft and have it flying again sometime in the early 1990s
