Queens, N.Y., June 14, 2013 -- New York volunteer agencies met at the NY Joint Field Office (JFO) to discuss Long Term Recovery Committee issues dealing with housing, funding allocation and the application process, as well as Disaster Case Management in order to better serve affected individuals. The Federal Disaster Recovery Coordination (FDRC) group, along with other Federal, State, City, and Volunteer agencies, reported on the recovery and rebuilding process taking place for Hurricane Sandy.
