STAFF Sergeant Julie Roach of the 6th Services Squadron, MacDill AFB, unloads sandbags from a convoy during the Phoenix Readiness Course at Fort Dix, New Jersey. The course is designed to train Air Force personnel in Air Mobility contingency operations. This includes setting up defensive positions in remote locations worldwide. The mission of the 421st Ground Combat Readiness Squadron (GCRS), Air Mobility Warfare Center, Fort Dix, is to formulate doctrine and develop tactics.
