Task Force Saber, 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade, awarded three ARCOMs with "V" device April 26 to Army aviators. The OH-58D pilots saved an Afghan National Army convoy pinned down under heavy fire in a tight valley. Their actions and willingness to put themselves in harm's way saved the lives of the Afghan soldiers pinned in their vehicles.
