127th Wing stands ready after snowstorm

Tom Kott, an equipment engineer with the 127th Civil Engineering Squadron, Roads and Grounds shop here, diligently clears the snow early this morning on base today, operating an Oshkosh snowplow number 20, at sun rise. Efforts to clear base roads, parking lots, runways and airfield ramps, is necessary to allow our mission to continue unimpeded. The Roads and Grounds crew work diligently to keep the ramp clear so that Base Operations are never impeded, Selfridge Air National Guard Base never "closes," it remains open under any prescribed contingency.
