180213-N-UK333-022 SAN DIEGO (Feb. 13, 2018) The Ohio-class ballistic submarine USS Nebraska (SSBN 739) sits pier side at Naval Base Point Loma during a port call in preparation for their tiger cruise. Nebraska is one of eight ballistic submarines stationed at Naval Base Kitsap-Bangor and recently completed an extended major maintenance period, including an engineered refueling overhaul, at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility.
