A compound for California Army National Guard special

A compound for California Army National Guard special forces and special operations soldiers is dedicated in memory of U.S. Army Maj. Rocco M. Barnes during a ceremony, May 18, 2018, at Joint Forces Training Base, Los Alamitos, California. Barnes, who was assigned to the Tactical Command Post 3, 40th Infantry Division, California National Guard, was serving in support of the U.S. Marine Corps as part of Operation Enduring Freedom, when he was killed June 4, 2009, in Afghanistan.
