A member of an Afghan and coalition security force provides security outside an Afghan home during an operation in search of a senior Taliban leader in Nad 'Ali district, Helmand province, Afghanistan, April 2, 2013. The senior leader has multiple insurgent cells of Taliban fighters under his command. He and his subordinates have participated in numerous attacks against Afghan and coalition forces throughout Helmand province. He also plotted the assassination of officials with the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. The security force seized one AK-47 and multiple magazines as a result of the operation.
