A U.S. Air Force F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft takes off from Allen Army Airfield at Fort Greely, Alaska, as U.S. Army medics and airfield management specialists observe the takeoff shortly before an airfield seizure scenario is executed as part of Exercise Northern Edge, June 17, 2015. Northern Edge 2015 is Alaska's premier joint training exercise designed to practice operations, techniques and procedures as well as enhance interoperability among the services.
