A U.S. Navy Lt. assigned to Explosive Ordnance Disposal

A U.S. Navy Lt. assigned to Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit (EODMU) 5 volunteers at the Mai Am Anh Dao Orphanage as part of a community partnership event in Ninh Hoa, Vietnam, June 11, 2016. The exercise provides an opportunity for Vietnam and U.S. forces to continue strengthening relationships as EODMU5’s Sailors volunteered their time to help plant trees, fix wiring and electronics, and repaint a playground. The Mai Am Anh Dao Orphanage relies almost entirely on donations, which go to the purchasing of food for the orphans, general upkeep of the orphanage, and periodic expenses.
