An Air Force Reserve C-5 Galaxy from 433d Military Airlift Wing, Kelly AFB, Texas delivers two AH-64 Apache helicopters to take part in NORTHERN EDGE '98, an annual Joint Chiefs of STAFF winter exercise involving air and ground units of all services. The Apaches are assigned to the 4th Battalion, 3d Armored Cavalry Regiment at Fort Carson, Colorado and will join others as part of the 353d Combat Training Squadron Thunderdome at Eielson AFB. The Apaches will fly to Fort Greely to participate in the joint service exercise
