An F-16 Fighting Falcon piloted by Maj. Brent Ellis, a fighter pilot with the 311th Fighter Squadron, prepares to exit a hangar, at Holloman Air Force Base, N.M., on Jan. 9, 2017. Ellis flew Brig. Gen. Eric Sanchez, the Commanding General at White Sands Missile Range, on a familiarization flight to demonstrate Holloman’s F-16 mission and the aircraft’s capabilities.
