Army Command Sgt. Maj. Marvin L. Hill, the command sergeant major of the International Security Assistance Force and U.S. Forces-Afghanistan, and Chief Warrant Officer 5 John Friberg (right) and Spc. Rahul Sawhney (left) cut a ceremonial cake during an observance ceremony honoring the U.S. Army's 236th birthday June 14, at ISAF Headquarters in Kabul. Friberg, 59, from the 20th Special Forces Group out of Birmingham, Ala., and Sawhney, 19, from the 724th Military Police Battalion out of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., were the oldest and youngest soldiers taking part in the ceremony.
