Summary
Army Futures Command hosted “Thank You, Austin,” an event aimed at celebrating AFC’s one-year anniversary in central Texas on July 22, 2019 at the Long Center of Performing Arts in downtown Austin, Texas. The evening celebration included performances by the U.S. Army Field Band, the 312th Army Rock Band, the Army Golden Knights Parachute Team, and the Army Drill Team. An oath of enlistment was held for over fifty new Army recruits, which included a flyover of two Blackhawks and the U.S. Army Continental Color Guard.
