Army Reserve Master Sgt. Robert Wood Fort Worth, Texas, carries the United States Army Reserve Command colors during drill and ceremony practice at Fort Meade, Md., Jan. 19, 2012, in preparation for the 57th Presidential Inauguration parade scheduled for Jan. 21. Wood, who is assigned to the 200th Military Police Command, and 89 other soldiers representing 11 major subordinate commands of the United States Army Reserve Command have spent the past several months preparing for the historical event. "These 90 soldiers represent more than 205,00 citizen warriors from all 50 States and territories," said Maj. Gen. Sanford Holman, commanding general of the 200th MPCOM. "They have spent countless weekends away from their families and their units to prepare to march on Pennsylvania Avenue with our comrades who we have served with in conflict and peacetime efforts. I am proud of each and everyone of them, and I know they will make America proud." The 200th MPCOM was charged with the mission to prepare Army Reserve soldiers to march with America's best during the parade.
