Arrival at Naval Air Station North Island

Fan Changlong as he arrives at Naval Air Station North Island. At the invitation of the Secretary of Defense, Gen. Fan will visit military installations through the U.S. June 8-13. During this visit, the U.S. Department of Defense will continue efforts to increase cooperative capacity in the areas of mutual interest, including humanitarian assistance/disaster relief, search and rescue, and transnational threats such as piracy and violent extremism.
