California Army National Guard Soldiers and UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters from 1st Battalion, 140th Aviation Regiment, 40th Combat Aviation Brigade, lifted Soldiers from 1st Battalion, 184th Infantry Regiment, 79th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, during an air assault exercise at the Combined Arms Collective Training Center at Camp Roberts, Calif., Aug. 23-25. The assault exercise was supported by AH-64 Apache helicopters from 1st Battalion, 211th Aviation Regiment, a Utah Army National Guard unit attached to the 40th CAB. The U.S. National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) was established in 1934 by President Franklin Roosevelt. The Defense Visual Information Distribution Service provides a connection between world media and the American military personnel serving at home and abroad. All of these materials are preserved because they are important to the workings of Government, have long-term research worth, or provide information of value to citizens.
