CJTF commanding general presents awards to Marines, Soldiers

U.S. Army Lt. Gen. Stephen J. Townsend, Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve commanding general, presents U.S. military personnel deployed in support of Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve, with the Joint Service Commendation Medal and the Navy Commendation Medal in Iraq, March 1, 2017. The awards were presented to each service member for their contribution to improving the capabilities of the base’s operations. Task Force Al-Taqaddum trains Iraqi forces, an integral aspect of Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve, the global coalition to defeat ISIS in Iraq and Syria.
