Coast Guard DART delivers fuel to drinking water pump station
Summary
OQUAWKA, Ill. - Coast Guard Disaster Area Response Team crewmen Petty Officer 2nd Class Jeff Terry helps Petty Officer 1st Class Billy Cline attach an engine to a DART boat being used to provide diesel fuel to workers fueling a generator running at a water pumping station.
The water pumping station provides approximately 40,000 people in local communities with drinking water. DART crewmembers delivered more than 900 gallons of fuel to keep the generator running.
