Summary

The Coast Guard searched for the owner of an unmanned adrift dinghy found approximately four nautical miles west of Point Vincente, California, Oct. 8, 2018. The Coast Guard dispatched a MH-65 Dolphin helicopter crew from Coast Guard Air Station San Francisco's Forward Operating Base Point Mugu, a 45-foot Response Boat Medium Crew from Station Los Angeles-Long Beach and the Coast Guard Cutter Blacktip to search the area that the dinghy was found.
