Coast Guard Station Grand Isle hosts SAR demo for the International Tarpon Rodeo

GRAND ISLE, La. - A Coast Guard 41-foot search and rescue boat crew from Coast Guard Station Grand Isle and MH-65C Dolphin rescue helicopter crew from Coast Guard Air Station New Orleans prepare to conduct hoisting operations for a search and rescue demonstration for the International Tarpon Rodeo, Wednesday, July 23, 2009.
It is tradition for Station Grand Isle to host a SAR demonstration the day before the International Tarpon Rodeo kicks off. The International Tarpon Rodeo is the biggest event on Grand Isle and annually brings 15,000 fishermen and visitors the island.
