Col. Thomas Pemberton, 514th Air Mobility Wing commander, listens as his active duty counterpart, Col. Jacqueline Breeden, 305th AMW commander, speaks at the KC-46A Pegasus groundbreaking ceremony, held at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst Dec. 3. Base leaders and state representatives took part in the ceremony, which represented the beginning of an $82.5 million two-bay hanger construction, part of a larger $146.5 million project, to house 24 new KC-46 Pegasus refueling jets.
